well guys-i finally got mtv mg for pc to run on my system
first impressions-if you are used to composing on playstation it's kinda slow interface on windows-i am glad it is identical to the psx version-really nice to be able to make tracks direct to wav with out having to connect a psx to my pc.
i'm excited about these features-the ability to use .wavs in songs and record audio from my sound card(with mic or from pc sound thru stereo mix)
-99 channels of sound opposed to 24
-midi keyboard input....wow i tried it out-if i slow down the tempo a lot a can do some in depth playing and then speed it back up to  normal bpm-sweeet
-and finally the ability to make mtvmg tracks direct on my pc-awesome
i'll be playing around on this and if i can get it stable(it does crash a lot)i will be making a lot of new music on it .if anyone else using the pc version wants to collaborate swapping save files that would be cool :-D                casper
