Pulse Groove (Another italo-disco song)
« on: June 23, 2008, 08:46:44 am »
Ok so I was bored and decided to make another disco song. I was gonna make it with MTVMG1 since I didn't needed much MTVMG2 samples but I finally went with MTVMG2 due to being able to have multiple notes playing together in one single channel, making it easier to make riffs, especially strings, and I am getting a bit used to the d-pad+joystick controls. So here is my second MTVMG2 song, Pulse Groove. It's kinda repetitive since I did it in a bit less than 4 hours but if you like italo disco you might like it anyway

(thanks Audioghost for the sample name for the bass btw)

This is really good, chirpy is the word I'm looking for!

Italo disco is making a comeback (wasn't really big in the first place, but hey) and this fits right in!
So many ideas, so little time.

yeah I love italo disco. I don't like the american disco as much. Italo seems to be more popular nowadays. Thanks for the comments

I agree with Casper, very 80`s sounding whilst retaining a modern feel and very, very dancable. Brilliant.

Italo Disco is one of my guilty pleasures, and this track is so f*cking fantastic. I love the melody, the samples you've used, the progression and the fact that it's a little repetetive, that's the way it's supposed to be!
