The Massacre(Instrumental)
« on: August 05, 2010, 05:30:36 am »
The Massacre                    The Massacre                    The Massacre                    The Massacre

My debut Rock/Metal release. I've had MTVMG1 for 11 years and I've never been able to create Rock or Metal. I have tried many, many times just to figure out the guitars, how to place them, etc, but always failed. Alas I feel I have moved a step in the right direction. I would say the metal bands Metallica, MegaDeth, Slayer, and Testament were my biggest influences while creating this. Lots of rhythm guitars, a few brief solos. I present to you ...........

The Massacre by DeathForce

I hope you all like it. :)

Duration: 5:26

Made with Sony PS1/MTV Music Generator 2000

Great debut rock song dude..
Loved the panning on the guitar in the intro, nice stuff.
I think u have done amazing on the guitar riffs on this, sounds quality.
Had a sort of dark feel to it and a really cool grungy guitar sound.
Nice work DJ Dropping awesome stuff.

Thanks both for listening and comments. Yeah I just might do some more of this. I have an elaborate one in the works that combines classical with guitar and not as much kick/bass or percussion....

Hard to believe this is your first attempt at Rock/Metal. This reminds me of a darker Metallica instrumetal , in the same vain as Ktulu...that dark/melodic feel. I'm loving alot of the guitar harmonys...excellent work...weaving in and out of that guttural riff.
I'd be interested in hearing more like this and the newer song you've described...keep it coming mate.

Thanks, Mr. Knowles.. Ah yes, The Call of Ktulu a GREAT instrumental.... Man to be compared to that is a great compliment, thanks  :). Yeah the next song will likely be something more instrumental you'd hear from Yngwie Malmsteen, but not sure about the Solos and fast, technical playing(Very difficult to create solos).

No problem :) the new song sounds as though it should be a treat.
The solos are always gonna be a pain in the ass...going through the samples trying to find decent sounds for shredding , tapping , harmonics etc just alotta time trying to make it sound audible.
But hopefully you figure it out man it would the final product would be interesting.

Yeah this new song should be a masterpiece. I hope I can figure it out too, multiple solos would suit this song.
