Techno/Trance / B.G.A - Shutopia
« on: December 20, 2010, 02:05:54 am »
I just unearthed this odd little song i did in 02. I used the progressions from Milk Inc.'s "In My Eyes" and added a whole lot of craziness, not sure what I was on, and recording is not the best quality as it was ripped from cassette, YES CASSETTE!

Techno/Trance / B.G.A - Special
« on: October 16, 2010, 12:50:43 am »
Way back in 2004, during my mid 00s writing blitz, i came up with this little ditty.

Techno/Trance / B.G.A - Tahoma
« on: October 16, 2010, 12:23:03 am »
This is a song i did in 2003 i think it sounds like a tranced up western.

Techno/Trance / B.G.A - Nemesis 2005
« on: September 14, 2010, 03:45:52 am »
This was actually the first full song I ever produced, back in 2000. Having made significant improvements to my sound I reworked from scratch in 2005. The result was a million times better than my original. So glad I kept the descending piano and menacing guitar riff.

Techno/Trance / Matt Dare - U Shine On (B.G.A Remix)
« on: September 14, 2010, 03:23:28 am »
This is epic for me at 5:35 lol. Could not resist re-working this one. Let me tell you it took a LONG time

Techno/Trance / B.G.A - Predictable (Choo Choo Train Remix)
« on: September 14, 2010, 03:10:39 am »
Delta Goodrem's "Predictable" gets the B.G.A instrumental makeover, and yes I think it sounds like a choo choo train..... :-[

Techno/Trance / B.G.A - 2002
« on: September 14, 2010, 03:03:14 am »
This was the song that got me serious. All my friends were like wtf when I whipped this one up way back in 2002. Hence the name. Straight-forward, formulaic, and obviously incredibly dated, but i still loves it LMFAO 8) 8)

Techno/Trance / Apologies
« on: September 14, 2010, 01:07:31 am »
I am ever so sorry for posting so many of my songs at once - i have only just found this place, no-one has ever heard any of my stuff and i am really excited that there ARE PEOPLE OUT THERE DOING THE SAME THING!! So bare with me, there are still a few good ones i need to show you all. Thanks for your kind words peeps, and don't ever stop evolving! ;D ;D

Techno/Trance / B.G.A - Oracle
« on: September 14, 2010, 12:56:11 am »
Ok as a kid my favourite movie was The Neverending Story. The Gorgio Moroder tune where Bastian is riding Falcor (more like a motif) is awesome and in 2004, it took me several weeks to get this right. The percussion is a little different lol - obviously i love to experiment with unorthodox percusssion. I hope i did this wonderful tune justice.  ;D

Techno/Trance / B.G.A - Circusmania (W.I.P)
« on: September 14, 2010, 12:06:52 am »
I know i should not post unfinished material as it kind of ruins things, but I need some advice on where to take this track. I have always wanted to use swing brass in some capacity and this is what it turned into lol. Any thoughts, or is it just crap LMFAO!  :-\ :-\

Techno/Trance / B.G.A - Discovery 2006
« on: September 13, 2010, 12:23:49 pm »
Hands up who has never used the trancer pad? i couldn't help myself way back in the beginning, and in 2006 I dug it out and overhauled it. This is close to being my magnum opus : Discovery 2006. Enjoy.

Techno/Trance / B.G.A - Paladian (2010 Remix)
« on: September 13, 2010, 12:19:50 pm »
I decided i must do an homage to Sunday Club's timeless club classic "Paladian Dawn". It's short but it's sweet.

Techno/Trance / B.G.A - Grand Prix 2010
« on: September 13, 2010, 06:30:12 am »
I just finished this. It's a remake of a song I did back in 2003.    ;D ;D

Techno/Trance / System F - Savannah (B.G.A Ambient Reprise)
« on: September 13, 2010, 01:17:47 am »
A little interlude of prettiness....also produced in 2004, i made a lot of music in 2004!

Techno/Trance / System F - Solstice (B.G.A REMIX)
« on: September 13, 2010, 01:07:26 am »
I do believe this one took me many weeks, I just had to do Ferry justice. I tried to make it sound as far from the original as possible, with more organic sounding percussion, and simple but effective strings emulating the original pads. hope ya'll like it, I did this one back in 2004 - note the use of the Pulsa LMFAO!!! i AM GLAD MY SOUND HAD EVOLVED!
